Design Editor
The Design Editor works on the visual appearance of Acta Victoriana’s physical issues. They design the journal covers and layout of internal content for both of the year’s print editions, and, with the Editor(s)-in-Chief, selects visual artwork for the journal from the submission pool.
Applicants for this position should have extensive knowledge of Adobe InDesign or an equivalent design software. Applications will open in September.
Associate Editor
As part of our selection committee, Associate Editors are responsible for reading and evaluating submissions of poetry, prose, and visual art. Meetings take place twice per academic year (once each semester). Must be open to friendly poetic debate. No writing or editing experience is required, but passion is a must!

Managing Editor
The Managing Editor is essential to the behind-the-scenes function of Acta Victoriana by being the organizational force behind the production of the journal. The Managing Editor is responsible for organizing, anonymizing, and distributing journal submissions as well as maintaining Acta Victoriana‘s social media presence.

Blog Correspondent
Responsibilities of a blog correspondent involve the creation of high-quality creative non-fiction, journalism, cultural commentary, artistic criticism, and/or book or media reviews to be published on our blog. Writers are expected to contribute two high-quality, polished pieces per semester.
Hiring for this position typically opens in late August/early September.
