Submissions for Acta Victoriana’s Fall Supplement are currently closed.
We appreciate your interest in submitting, and encourage you to keep an eye out for the submission period for our Winter Supplement, which we expect to open in January. In the meantime, you can still view our submission guidelines here.

Poetry and Short Fiction Submissions
Submission guidelines:
– Font: Times New Roman; font size 12. Exceptions will be made if font style/size is integral to the work.
– Length: Poetry: Limit 250 lines per poem; Fiction: Limit 2500 words per piece.
– Limit: Three total submissions per writer (2 short stories + 1 poem, etc.) per submission period.
Good to know:
– An honorarium of $20 per piece will be given to the writers selected for publication.
– As a courtesy to other contributors, please submit only once per submission period.
– We encourage simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your pieces have been accepted elsewhere.
Visual Submissions
Submission guidelines:
– Format: .jpg preferred.
– Specifications: Minimum 300 DPI file quality.
– Limit: Three submissions per artist per submission period.
Good to know:
– An honorarium of $20 per piece will be given to the artists selected for publication.
– As a courtesy to other contributors, please submit only once per submission period.
– We encourage simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your pieces have been accepted elsewhere.
