Submissions for Acta Victoriana’s Winter Supplement are now closed.
Please view our submission guidelines below. Note that given the large of submissions we receive, the editorial board reserves the right to automatically reject submissions if submission guidelines are not followed.

Poetry and Short Fiction Submissions
You can submit your work through the Google form here.
Submission guidelines:
– Font: Times New Roman; font size 12. Exceptions will be made if font style/size is integral to the work.
– Length: Poetry: Limit 250 lines per poem; Fiction: Limit 2500 words per piece.
– Limit: Three total submissions per writer (2 short stories + 1 poem, etc.) per submission period.
Good to know:
– An honorarium of $20 per piece will be given to the writers selected for publication.
– As a courtesy to other contributors, please submit only once per submission period.
– We encourage simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your pieces have been accepted elsewhere.
Visual Submissions
You can submit your work through the Google form here.

– Format: .jpg preferred.
– Specifications: Minimum 300 DPI file quality.
– Limit: Three submissions per artist per submission period.
Good to know:
– An honorarium of $20 per piece will be given to the artists selected for publication.

– We encourage simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your pieces have been accepted elsewhere.
